It was bad enough that Miriam DeKalb (voiced by Dani Lennon) and her three siblings were summoned by their estranged industrialist father (Ray Wise) to his high-rise complex just so he could brutally slay them. It got still crazier when she was plucked out of time by alien entities betting on the outcome of the awful scenario--and given a mulligan so she could possibly save them all.
