Pictures, starring Errol Flynn as Robin and Olivia de Havilland as Maid Marian. The movie follows the story of the legendary medieval hero Robin Hood, who steals from the rich and gives to the poor in 1190s England. Prince John and the Norman Lords have begun oppressing the Saxon masses while King Richard is away, so Robin takes it upon himself to fight back as an outlaw with his band of Merry Men. Alongside Maid Marian and Friar Tuck, Robin embarks on an incredible adventure full of daring escapades and thrilling sword fights. With sublime innocence and breathtaking artistry, this classic movie won three Academy Awards for Best Film Editing, Interior Decoration and Original Score. Directed by Michael Curtiz and William Keighley. 1938/color/102 min/NR/fullscreen/English subtitles.
