Hoppity Goes to Town (aka Bugville) 1941 - This charming Fleischer Brothers production tells the story of the inhabitants of Bugville, actually a weed patch in the middle of New York City. These tiny creatures have their own problems living in the human world and fighting the villainous C. Bagley Beetle. Features a musical score by Frank Loesser & Hoagy Carmichael. Originally titled "Mr. Bug Goes To Town", it was a box-office disappointment since it was released December 7th, 1941, the day of the attack on Pearl Harbor, but survives today as an all-time family classic. COLOR Animation/Comedy/Family 78 minutes
