Low production budgets and heavy promotion made its films a financial success, as did respected actors like Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing and sex goddesses like Ursula Andress and Raquel Welch—all of whom give interviews here—along with scores of other pivotal players in Hammer’s rise to infamy.
