In Battle Creek, Michigan, an under-funded police station is turned upside-down when the handsome and charismatic Special Agent Milton Chamberlain (Josh Duhamel) shows up and opens an FBI field office in the building. He chooses Detective Russ Agnew (Dean Winters), an old-time cynic, to be his partner. As they work to clean up the streets they start to wonder whose style is better at solving the citys problems.
