At CCVideo, your purchases are conducted in a secure area of the site, making it extremely difficult for someone to gain access to your credit card.
Critics' Choice Video supports SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption when transmitting your account information. SSL is the industry standard security protocol CCVideo uses to communicate with your secure browser (such as Netscape and Internet Explorer). The section of the site that is secured is the checkout area. Our entire check-out/purchase process is conducted in a secure environment. You will know that you are in a secure section of the site when the "key" in the lower left corner of your browser window turns solid blue (for Netscape customers) or the "padlock" appears in the lower right corner of your browser window (for Internet Explorer customers). Both symbols will indicate that the encryption process is active. "Encryption" means that the information you are giving us (like your credit card number) is sent to our server in a way that is extremely difficult to be decoded. In the nearly impossible event that your credit card number is stolen, you are only liable for up to $50 of losses from credit card theft--just as if your credit card were physically stolen from you.

This ensures that no one can gain access to your order from the Internet after you have placed it on our site.
