It is before the dawn of time. Strange, savage beasts roam the earth, foraging for human flesh. Fierce tribesmen prey on the weak and innocent. Mystic sacrifices appease the gods. She wears a matching medallion. Yor is determined to rescue her to find her and the answers, even at the risk of losing his life. The talisman takes him on an incredible journey, joined first by the sensuous cavegirl, Ka-Laa (Corinne Cléry, Moonraker), then by the lusty priestess, Roa (Ayshe Gul). He learns the secrets of the mummified fire people and outwits the brutal fur-draped barbarians of the Northern hills.
