Dusty in Deutschland [Import]
NTSC/Region 0 pressing. Shortly after the release of her milestone album Dusty in Memphis, Dusty Springfield flew to Cologne to record a tv special for West German Television (WDR). Produced by world famous Dutch television director Bob Rooyens, and described as 'An off-beat show, very experimental, with new electronic tricks and highly-original optical effects', this unique special also reveals Dusty in rehearsal and off-stage, and is one of her earliest performances in color. Dusty performs her top-selling numbers from the period: 'Son-of-a Preacher Man', 'The Windmills of Your Mind', 'I Close My Eyes and Count to Ten', plus there is a guest appearance from Procol Harum, performing their hits 'Whiskey Train' and 'A Salty Dog'.
